Hi
I have installed egt sensor - but I thing my egt numbers are too high I saw 790 degrees celzium ( 1460 f ) on wot yesterday - if normaly cruising at stable speed I see 700-740 degrees ... can some one tell me is that normal for M5
BTW yesterday I but denso iridium IXU22 on the S38B38 can it be the problem ?

1460 is is perfectly normal for an aspirated car, where did you puy the probe ???
In turbo cars we usualy use it 10 cm after the turbo, and see a little bit colder than that, like 1350. If it is stick before the turbo, just after the ex. manifold 1450 is pretty ok

probably not ... they just need to be the same temp grade.

I use grade 10 in my S2 RS, only because I run on Ethanol
