Hi - since moving hosts all the links to pictures in my albums are broken - is it possible to edit the posts or is this another issue?

Photos wont embed anymore (for some hosts), but you can still edit. Each post has a max of 10 pix if uploaded directly to the board :(

I couldn't find how to. New board software blows.

It’s frustrating, I know. So I thought I’d share a little way to look back at certain threads in the old forum format. This only works for threads that have been captured by the Wayback Machine. Most DIY’s, popular threads, etc, are usually there.
This isn’t new info, but if you’ve tried to do this lately, you most likely got no result.
The problem is, this new look format addresses the threads differently than the old v-bulletin style we all miss. So to get around this you need to rearrange the address to the old style, then copy/paste into the Wayback Machine. See the screenshot below for an example. Top is the new style address for one of your threads with lots of great pics that are now missing. Rearrange as shown (then paste into the WM) and you’ll see your post as we all remember it. Yes, it’s a huge PITA, but it’s useful if you want to see missing pics. Also could allow you to copy pics and add them back to the end of your thread as I’ve done in the past for other DIY’s. Another PITA, but I rely on this place to keep the Beast in top shape, so I deal.
