Wow - a lot of views...no one knows anything though?
All the feedback I can personally give you is this - Car looks super clean cosmetically and looks to be in excellent condition. It has expensive Hartge parts on it, which may or may not add any value to the car. I would say if you're in the market for this particular color combo, etc. then go look at the car in person if you're not too far away. Drive it and ask for the cars entire maintenance history. If you're still interested after seeing it, make sure you do a PPI from a 3rd party to see that it checks out mechanically. I can't tell you how many cars I've seen in my lifetime that look like gems, but when they're on the rack, it's like OMG I just dodged a huge bullet. I hope this helps.

Nice mods on this car and it looks like it has been meticulously taken care of.
My only comment...nice genuine Hartge parts, but...those BIG and HEAVY Hartge wheels can accelerate wear on all the suspension parts. Check the control arms, bushings, and wheel bearings.

As was mentioned, get a PPI and see if you an get an oil analysis -- as a yardstick. At 7x,xxx miles, the rod bearings could need replacement. You can use that to negotiate the price down.

Good luck in your search!

Thanks guys...I love the Hartge parts on it - they do look great...and yes it seems meticulously cared for cosmetically. I have the company taking it to the local BMW dealer where I have paid for them to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Made it abundantly clear I want to know every issue with it. Hopefully it will check out. I will be buying an extended warranty for it...ultimately, I look fwd to being part of the M5 family. :) Cheers.

Check out those wheels thoroughly they are prone to cracks .
Like some others here have said be careful. It took me 5 months of searching to find my Beast. Alot of the cars I looked at had no/ poor maintance historys and almost all of them had some kind of issue. This car is crazy complex so any issue you find later can be $$$$$$$$$. Good luck I hope the car checks out.
BUMMED OUT! :sad2::sad2:

Vanos, oil pump etc not doing their job. Recommended work is a full engine replacement....running away from this one. Oh well.
Don't be bummed out!!!

This is just another testiment to do a thorough PPI before purchase and you will save yourself a boat-load of trouble and money. There's nothing worse than buying a money pitt that will cost you a fortune to fix down the road. I'm sure another one will come.

Amen, getting a PPI is worth the spend to ensure you are getting what you are paying for!
