I have been having this problem for more than a few years. I thought it was the Fuel Pump, battery or anything else. The E8 code is the purge valve code. I had a similar code on my Dodge Neon SXT. I was able to fix that by replacing the purge valve. It wasn't that hard. When I reset the code (I have a code reader) Things go fine until I turn on the AC. Then the E8 SES comes on. I have tried this many times. Can the two be related? Has anyone else experienced this? Any help is appreciated.
