In the service info I see brakes, oil etc.....but nothing specific on plugs. Which is it? Maybe thy we're changed and I wasn't awareMine were replaced at 30k, what does your car say in the info service?
yes it should show in the I drive when it's time to change the plugs not necessary on certain mileage it depends on your driving behavior. you can ask for a plug replace anytime if your paying for it otherwise they wont replace it before it shows 3000 miles remaining to the change .
Have you checked the DIY sticky thread at the top of the forum page? Plenty in there...I can back up this claim - I was just quoted $845 for plugs from my dealer.
Does anybody have any good resources with a how-to on how to change your own plugs? at even $13 a pop for high end plugs I cannot imagine what the dealer is selling me that's worth 10 times that price!?
Read the DIY on subject and stick with OEM plugs. Does not mean you have to buy from dealer, but I would not put anything in the engine other then recommended plugs. Well unless you're smarter than the original engineer and know the exact performance the plug must meet to ensure engine performance.
