Has anyone or does anyone know if an e46 M3 steering wheel will fit on our beasts? Reason is I need an adapter to fit my Sparco steering wheel and I can't find one that specifically fits the E39 but I was thinking maybe an E46 from around the same area might use hub/adapter. Any thoughts?

E46 M3 and E39 M5 steering wheels are interchangeable,so no worries!

I used a VAC E46 M3 Hub and Adapter with a Sparco wheel and I hate it. The adaoter catches the hub when putting and is a pain in the *** to center on it. If I had to go back and do it again I would spend more and get the CAE Quick Release. And for those wondering, E36 hubs will work on our cars for any other nuts who decide to rip apart their M5s
