Now that I am back for a bit, time to revamp this thread. From this point on I intend to only offer 2001-2002 production lights, due to certain headlight related.... Injuries.
______

Set #1
Up for sale is a pair of freshly redone E39 OEM Xenon headlights with new DJ Auto Euro lenses.

All bulbs checked prior to shipping. (Not guaranteed in any way however afterwards)

Here's some info:
Originally 2002 bakeable lights
New DJ Auto Euro Lenses
New Light Adjusters
Cleaned inside and out
Slight projector shroud wear only lower lip (barely any)
Though the lenses are new, i still recommend a clear bra! (Xpel Is my personal choice 3 years running)
Since the adjusters are new, the buyer must do the final adjustments to their car's specification. Installation best done on level surface.

Those looking to retrofit to a 2000 model year M5 car:
-I can include wire pigtails for the turn signals & angel eyes as well as LCI headlight brackets for an additional $25. (Last pic in album)
----Only wire pigtails are provided, you must wire / splice it yourself.
-Please note, if you use OEM angel eyes you need to bend an AC freon inlet tube, please read up DIYs. E39Souce has an excellent DIY [Click] (No affiliation :) )

Hi there, I have been waiting for you to start doing these again. I have heard great things about your work. I have a 2003 xenon set-up. I don't need ballast. I assume this will work. I am confused by your angel eye bend tube comment. I have upgraded my AE's to LED's, I assume these are plug and play?

You say the projectors are slightly worn. How bad in your assessment? I have horrible light throw at the moment.

I tried to PM you but I can't yet because of my posts. Could you email me please:

I had a few inquires about "Projector Shroud wear" So I shall address it!

Short Version: It’s nothing significant, don’t worry. I note it just because I have to.

—-
Long Version:

First of all, I have a bit of OCD with these parts, simply because I go though a lot more than anyone so I nit pick minute details that some (maybe even most) wont notice. I've been through 50+ lights, trust me I've seen it all. Call me an Underevaluator.

I put it the wear remark on nearly every listing since at the age of the cars now, it's a given. (Plus it’s not new $1300 unbakeable euro hella set)

Q: What is the wear?
A: It is wear as a result of failed adjusters. This is due to the auto leveler being the only thing holding the projector unit and allowing it to flop around inside the light.

Q: How bad can it get?
A: Sometimes minimal, sometimes a few inches in a circular area due to contact against the outer bezel shroud

Q: Can it be fixed?
A: To an OEM degree? No way. This coating hates anything abrasive, even a moderate microfiber cloth wiping.
This is why i say to OEM euro light owners NEVER attempt to clean their euro clear corners or bezel rings of any cosmetic markings. That specific coating is even more sensitive to a gloved finger print. Ask me how I know!

Q: How noticeable can it get?
A: If you or I are a concourse Judge, maybe. Otherwise hardly at all. Majority of the time is it invisible due to other reflective surfaces/angles in the housing.

On other occasions the upper arch of the high beam can experience wear/minor fading. Why? Daytime running lights! You would be surprised what the heat can do.

Check out my personal lights. Quiz: Do I have projector shroud wear? :)

let me know when you have some cleaned out/upgraded oem usdm lights, i'm local and can pick up!

I do have some actually, but as one would expect, they all need serious resurfacing. I’m border line not up to offering these since by the end of the day the 2 screw holes almost always break either upon removal or install, and there is often some underlying lens imprefection that doesn’t show up until after redoing them (which is onw of the reasons i chose to stop OG lights)

Not really the best to ship though due to awkward size / weight however.

Actually the only ambers I have at the moment are on the existing lenses. Most everything else from the clearance post that was left over ended up in the bin :(

If i were able to salvage the ambers from my existing lenses it would be $20 shipped.

Good evening Dking,

I am very interesting in purchasing a set of the lights that you have for sale.

One crazy question I have to ask is can you install the Morimoto Evo projectors ?

I would gladly pay extra for the lights and can give you a deposit as well.

Please shoot me a PM.

Thanks
