Hello,
I have a 2000 bmw m5 and the alternator keeps going out. I checked and cleaned the ground on the passenger side of the engine near the frame and cleaned it/reattached it. I have been using the bosch rebuilt alternators from FCP euro. I recently replaced the alternator again, and when I went to start the car, the battery light is still on. The battery was fully charged using a trickle charger, and is brand new. All cables are connected tightly and the battery ground is clean and connected as well. What could else could be going on here? could it be another ground? Faulty replacement alternator? Fuse?

any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Started it up and battery light goes out for the first ten seconds once I start up the car.
I hope my reply helped you, let me know if you get any issue further... thanks you!
