I know this has been covered in the search forum etc but im still confused.
I would like to upgrade my sat/nav from mk2,plus have a larger monitor screen ,have the option of an ipod connection and be able to use my blackberry via bluetooth with the car controls.
Does this single unit give me any/all of these options, and do you think its a viable plan or whats the best way to proceed?
I realise a screen on Ebay will set me back approx £300,intravee kit will be approx£250 with DSP adapter and a mk 4 sat/nav could be £400?
You can see my situation??
Sorry if I've missed the obvious, just need pointing in right direction!!!:dunno:

It will do all that. But I wouldnt do it to a car with DSP without removing the DSP amp and using an after market amp. I have the Dynavin in my daily driver 528. Its great. I wish I had the motivation to do it to my M5, but its too much trouble for me. I would rather rebuild the VANOS than pull up trim.

In short, DSP is not very compatible with other non-oem equipment. The Dynavin unit is plug and play for a non nav MID radio. But nav and dsp requires an extension to the trunk and a non dsp amp to work well. There is a thread on this board where someone installed a Dynavin on an M5 http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39-m5-e52-z8-discussion/163732-dynavin-1one-forreal-time-10.html. Also, here is a thread that has a lot of Dynavin info http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=793437 If your in the US I highly recommend buying from the OP in the e46 thread, Jeff B. Great service.
