Has any one had the DSP shut down?

I was driving to the airport and all of a sudden the radio shut off. I can't select the DSP on the nav screen.

What was the solution if you had it fixed?

I tried that but I was in a rush to the airport and maybe I didnt wait long enough.

I get back on Friday if it starts up no problems I assume its some sort of glitch that wil eventually need a diagnostic run on it

I ve only had the car for about a month and i know little things like this might happen but it was fine for a weekend trip to boston I was running a radar detector and fm modulator the whole time..maybe those had something to do with it

My ESP shut down a few times (also the screen would go black) before the amp eventually blew. Hopefully your amp isn't headed in that direction but the symptoms sound familiar. Btw, I never really cranked the stereo up or did anything out of ordinary so who knows...Anyways, hope the problem works itself out :cheers:
