I've searched on RealOEM and Google, but have been unable to find a definitive answer. Is the left thigh bolster on the passenger seat the same as the left thigh bolster on the driver's seat? This is difficult to determine from the RealOEM parts diagram: RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts Catalog

So I thought I'd inquire of the board. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mike

Looking at RealOEM for my vin it shows the entire lower seat pad set is one part # 52108101803, and two sets are required. Therefore, I’d say yes, the left bolster is the same on both seats. And yes, it’s a common hack to find a passenger seat in good shape to swap with a worn drivers seat. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the insight! I already have an excellent left thigh bolster off a passenger seat (purchased from a fellow board member here on eBay) and wanted to be sure it was correct before I took the driver's seat and the replacement bolster to the upholstery shop and was told that it wouldn't work!
