Ever tried overtaking in a left hand drive car? Certainly not for the faint hearted. Fine on motorways, but as for the rest, forget it.

My B10 Bi-turbo is left hand drive and I can overtake everything.... :wroom:

Seriously, it's not a problem. Just look at all those E30 M3's !

I know I'm in slightly the wrong place here, but my E39 M5 is a left hooker.

I've yet to encounter a situation where I've been disadvantaged other than having to get out to buzz myself into the work car park. The penalty - a little free excersise.

Overtaking is really no problem - as many others seem to agree, it really makes you think, and again, with that much power available.....

It is, however, a huge advantage that so many think it IS a problem - I couldn't quite afford a RHD E39 M5.....

That is a good point tho Rob, this is a reason that I thought about before having mine imported. I mainly did it so I got the spec I wanted, Low miles and well looked after and maintained example, which I couldn't find over here.
