Buddy of mine owns a car dealership.

One owner 1991 E34 M5 hit his showroom floor this afternoon.
Just 50 000miles on the clock:wroom:.
Owner also has an E60 M5, got no where to park the E34.

Have not seen the car yet but he reckons its still in showroom condition.
I gotta get round there tomorrow morning and check it out.
I might have to loose my ZX14 to get this thing - deal should be easy to land with wife, she is no fan of the bike:1:

Seller is looking for $11 600.
BY way of comparison, I paid $30 000 for my relatively clean 2001 E39

Sounds like a sweet e34. Check with Mike (mottati)... a member of the 'Two-M5 Club' and e34 M5 owner..

not sure what the e34 market is there, but that is a great price if the condition is consistant with the low milage. The e34 is a fun car, different, but fun. You really need both. I wouldn't mind an e28 either...

You should buy it, then strip it out and turn it into a track car. :)

I converted the price to $.

I dont imagine many of the board members would appreciate what R85 000 means in value terms (wink)

Did I mention this car comes with a full service history with the BMW dealers !

Anyway, I've left a message on my buddies cell phone that he should consider the car sold. I just hope in the last 24 hours since I looked at it, its not already sold.

Next step is to come up with the money. Going to sell the ZX14 (damn dangerous these 2 wheelers that make me wheelie them at 200km/h plus). Gonna have to figure out a way of funding in the short tem until bike sells.

Incidently, as previously mentioned current owner has no space for this M5. Part of his current collection is the E60 M5 AND E39 M5. I think he is going to regret this sale, breaking a collection of M5's like this.

Buy it. You know you won't regret it. Post pics too. I got all excited. I thought it was in rand. I was going to try to find it if so. When I visited SA, the exchange rate was 11 rand to the dollar! I can't wait to come back. You know you need to buy an M5 jacket and hat from me now...:applause:

$11k is an absolute steal for this mileage. My car has done 200.000 km and I wouldn't sell it for that.

Well I haven't sealed the deal yet.
Hoping to do that today.

Here are some pics I took end of last week.
