I am wondering if there is any record of the engine temperature when a code is thrown? In addition, would there be a timestamp?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Maybe the dealership can. I’ve never seen a consumer level product that can. If they can it’s high level stuff. A buddy is a Master Audi tech and he can request Audi Germany to pull the information, but the only time he’s ever mentioned it is when there’s a major issue aka blow new motor...

Freeze data is shown depending on the code. No need to go to Germany for the info. It's not hard to access, you just need the right the scanners. Most high end aftermarket scanners are capable of viewing the data but more easily confirmed is using the INPA program. I haven't used INPA on the F10 yet, but on my E39's it shows things like engine speed, vehicle speed, coolant temp, oil temp, etc. Also shows number of times the code is or should be set.
