After searching for a while I'm still not sure about the following: Does anybody know definatively if the Dinan bump stops with the stage 1 kit are specifically manufactured OR are they just a bump stop from a different BMW model. They look like about the same size as the stops out of the E36 M3 or perhaps the Z4 M, but can't be sure. I put in a question to Dinan, but haven't heard back yet so figure I'd check here to see if anybody knows for sure.

Thanks

I think they are the same as the E36 M3. In a thread about Ground Control suspension build they mentioned using the Dinan bump stops. Maybe look that thread up.

Sorry to revive an old thread, (at least I searched lol)

So looks like Dinan uses e36 M3 bump stops for the front but what about for the rears?

From their pictures looks like it’s the same front and rear.

I ordered their handling kit but it’s been two months of waiting and getting impatient.

Called DINAN and they won't sell just the bumpstops. Just wanted to experiment something instead re-buying their Handling kit again.

Anyone can confirm the bumpstops for the rear are the same???

Updating my own thread, I ended up getting the kit.

For the E63/64 Dinan uses E36 M3 bumpstops for the font and rear.

For the rear they also include E30 dust boots to protect the pistons.

Also just an FYI, aftermarket bumpstops are not the same quality as oem.

OEM has a soft section while the no name brands are hard all the way.
