Had to go on an errand. Took the long way. 5th gear acceleration over 120 is really something....

Sorry - had to share it. Still grinning.

Yes, it is F_____g amazing, not just amazing. I took mine up to an indicated 160 mph in fifth gear and the acceleration never slowed. I must have been just shy of the limiter (157?). The car felt rock solid at the speed. Awesome.

AGREED!!! 4th and 5th over 120 is unbelievable. Backed off at 140...ran out of road. Rock solid at those speeds. Almost like cruising at 70.

The car is a little bit unstabile starting at approx. 160mph. I'm driving it quite often to the limit (185mph) on the german motorways and will put now an harder suspension in to get it better.

Well that leads me to believe that (unfortunatelly) BMW was telling the truth when they said they (almost) didn't test the car for more than 250 Km/h. And that suspension is indeed soft. What we need is nurburgring suspension package - part II.
