The O/S front fog light lens on my new M5 is cracked :-( Is it possible to just get a replacement lens, or do I need to buy a complete fog light? Anyone have relevant part numbers?

(Also, I spent ages looking for the brake fluid reservoir. Every other car that I have owned - including my E34 M5 - has easily accessible places for checking the level of and/or topping up vital fluids. I had to resort to the manual to find that the brake fluid is hidden away under the O/S air filter. Sigh!)

I believe the fog light is one complete unit, as the glass is bonded to the housing. You will have to purchase a new light. Sorry, but I don't have a part number.

You need a new housing. It only costs $99 USD for the housing, which comes with a bulb as well.

you can get the housing for less if you purchase online..normally you can find it for somewhere along the 75-80 range and shipping might cost some but you might end up ahead

Bav Auto and Pacific BMW are both lower price alternatives to the dealer...and sometimes even the dealer doesnt have them in stock
