Get the price for the rebuild, if it is less than new motor pay the difference.@jcolley At this point so many people are talking in circles I don't know what to do. The shop the car is at right now is great and they're good people. They're pushing to replace the motor vs rebuilding it. Cornerstone seems agreeable enough but appears to not work with this car or engine much. They, like any warranty company, are looking for the path that is the least expensive. And then there's me - who doesn't know a lick about this **** - i just want my car fixed and back on the road. From what I've heard from others (even those of you on here) this seems like a pretty straightforward deal, but Cornerstone is really being defensive about replacing the engine.
