Hey guys! A few weeks into ownership of my E60 M5, and loving every second. Doing the baseline maintenance and working out a few recurring codes.

Tonight I got an Increased Emissions, which I hadn't seen in a while. Peake code 2b59, which is coolant temperature monitor.


Does that equate to replacement of the coolant temp sensors? Ie, the one on the side of the radiator and another above the thermostat? What are you guys doing to alleviate this code?

For me when I got the emissions increased error it was code P00B3 00: Radiator Coolant Temperature (RCT) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

Which is the sensor next to the radiator in the hose.
