Did you check the fogs? Of course, make sure switch is on. How about the hard to see license plate light?

Thanks for all the replies. I'll check all of the items mentioned and also pull the front sockets. These are known problem items so it wouldn't surprise me if one is corroded. When I was at Dinan in December, had them troubleshoot and they found slightly corroded sockets (front side turn signals). They replaced both sides and problem is now history.
I have the same issue and it was one of the LED drivers for the angel eyes. I just need to replace the LED driver. Thanks for all the replies. I'll check all of the items mentioned and also pull the front sockets. These are known problem items so it wouldn't surprise me if one is corroded.
OK, if the front lights check out, then I'm going there next. But how can you tell if it's an LED driver (do you mean ballast?), and how can you tell which one, if both sides are working?I have the same issue and it was one of the LED drivers for the angel eyes. Yes, I do mean the ballast for the LED's. I found that when the message appeared that the bad LED side actually went off and the turn indicator came on on the bad side.OK, if the front lights check out, then I'm going there next. Just had the same message yesterday for the first time and it was my front side amber light... so i hit it, turned the lights off and back on and the message was gone. The last few days, I've been plagued by an intermittent "check side lights" warning on the LED display. But I walked around the car and couldn't find any lights out. First, does anyone know which lights correspond to the "side lights"? Could the halos/angel eyes be the "side lights"? The lights in the side fenders are just blinkers aren't they (and they work). Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
The reason all your lights are coming on immediately when your headlamps are set to Automatic is because you've got your fog lamps turned on. This bypasses the ambient light sensor for the automatic headlamps, and just turns everything on when the ignition is on. You could be parked on the surface of the sun and the lights would still automatically illuminate. My MID displays "check fog light" but both are new and this is an intermittant issue. If my light are set to auto, all lights come on regardless. If the are off i ocasionally get the lamp error. The wiring seems fine but I hooked up a code reader and I get a communication error according to my code book. Any suggestions?
