Check engine coming on ; test reads code 1231

"Battery Voltage/DME Main Relay 1231 "

Could somebody tell me specifically what this would refer to? I know I was running it yesterday with the a/c and radio on, and I took her for a couple of shorter-than-usual drives. The light comes on periodically, but the stomp test reported the stored code. Any suggestions?

Further experimenting.... The light is on when the car starts up. However, when I use my power windows or sunroof, or any power application for that matter, the light goes off while whichever is in use, and then it comes back on. Any suggestions?
