Do these match up directly without modification? No performance loss from 'genuine' MAFs?
That should be the VW part number for the VW Bosch MAF sensor, ends in 032. Ours ends in 029.

Technical discussion seems to indicate the VW runs about 4% richer, apparently not noticeable. Most everyone reports excellent results.

apparently what ive read is people have great success with the VW MAFS

you will remove the sensor from the housing and reuse the housing from your original MAF

So this is plug and play? My car has 67k AND DOUBT the mafs have ever been changed. I tried cleaning but would rather get new mafs.
So if you guys say they are good to go i'll go ahead and order them.
ive never tried personally, but if you do a search, there's a very high success rate using the VW MAFS since they cost 1/3 the price of the BMW MAF
