I tried searching but kept getting threads talking about AUX inputs.

Just want to know whats the best format to use on a CD so it works in our CD changers? I remember in my 528 some songs didnt work because of the format but it was too long ago for me to remember! Thanks guys!

But thats assuming his CD changer is the later version that reads MP3's. I agree WAV is probably best.

What will make a difference to the readability of audio written to CDRs is the type of disc and speed it's written at. They're either 650MB (74minute) or mostly 700MB (80minute) these days, the 74min discs can be more compatible as their lower pitch can make them easier to read in older drives. The type of dye used means different brands can effect how well they read in old drives. Writing slower usually improves the readability but most modern CD writers should be fine at 4x and 8x.
