Thought some of you might be interested in this. A great group of car enthusiasts (all marquees) who meet regularly in Chatham (2011 schedule below). Truly an amazing gathering of cars on any given day! Attached are a couple quick pics from a random Saturday last year.
_____________________________________

After a tough winter, we would like to welcome everyone to the new season of Cars and Croissants! The meet keeps growing and we had some great firsts last year (SLA, FLA, 100 year old RR). By the end of 2010, we had over a 100 cars showing up regularly and the variety has been just amazing.

As we mentioned in our kick off email in prior years, C&C is completely casual and informal. Just a bunch of car guys getting together on a Saturday/Sunday morning. No cost to you except for what you want to spend at the local shops. Please feel to invite others who might enjoy our gatherings.

The details (please read as there are a few changes):

Location: Parking lot of the Woodland Bakery, 650 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ 07928

A few requests:
1) Please do not park in the first row of parking spaces on the right as you enter the parking lot
2) Please obey all posted parking signs and, especially, leave any handicapped spots open for those who may need them;
3) Please do not lay down any rubber when leaving the parking lot!

Time: 8:30 - 11:00AM (We have noticed that parking lot now starts to fill up with shoppers after 11AM; a fixed end time will hopefully reduce crowding for both groups).

Thanks for posting this, sounds like a great event. Sunday's weather looks nice so hopefully I'll be able to swing by. I don't know if you recall, but we traded PMs last spring trying to find a time to meet for coffee (I'm the guy that was looking at your house before you bought it). Hopefully we'll have a chance to meet in person.

Sure, I absolutely recall our exchange and still look forward to meeting you in person, whether this Sunday or one other day on the calendar! As you saw, they hold the gathering like clockwork every other week weather permitting so we'll have plenty of opportunities if you can make it...I go to maybe 1/3-1/2 of the dates as my weekend family obligations allow.

I can appreciate the demands on your schedule. The reason I "fell off the earth" after we PM'ed was my son was born last summer, which definitely ate into my free time to do events like this. Do you think you'll make it this Sunday?

Congrats on the birth of your son! There's nothing quite like it!

Re: this Sunday, I think I can make it, though I tend to be an "earlier" attendee rather than "later."
