I need to transport a vehicle from Vancouver, Canada to Houston, Texas. The car is a US spec car and is titled in Texas. There shouldn't be any issues with US Customs. Anyone know a good car transport company that will do cross country door to door transport? I paid $1100 for a door to door transport from Houston to Seattle few years ago.

Sorry for the non M5 related post.

Kenneth: I had a vintage Indian motorcycle (US made) shipped from Toronto to the US and I needed to hire a customs broker to do the paperwork, even though EPA and DOT have no regulations covering a 53 year old motorcycle. I also found that very few of the major transport companies would pick up a car in Canada, though most would deliver there.

The customs broker met the delivery truck at the border and took care of convincing customs that the bike was US made and that it was exempt from any semblance of safety and emissions standards. No problems encountered.

Kenneth,

I transported my M5 from Virgina Beach to Irvine, CA with Passport Transport. The cost was $1685 and not a single problem. This was a door to door process. Very nice people and they insure the car for $100k.

3. Passport Transport (www.passporttransport.com) 800-325-4267 (MO)

4. Intercity Lines 800.221.3936 referred to by Symbolic Motors as the BEST? 10-14 days advanced notice. 7-10 days delivery

5. Reliable (313) 453-6677 MI 1-800-528-5709 AZ

6. LaMance Transport. 1-423-745-9603 -- smaller truck, quicker to dispatch?

Hope this helps

I can endorse both Passport and Intercity, having used them both in the last year.
