Morning all,

Yesterday I was putting the battery back in my car after a winter of storage and I happened across the connector shown in the pictures below. It was situated beneath the mess next to the battery on the outer side of the car. What confused me is that it was disconnected when I found it.

It looks like the connector to the switch on the plastic battery cover. I believe this switch should trigger the alarm if someone removes the rear seat.

Thedg , you will find connectors on vehicle that don't go to anything. They are usually there for some accessory that your car did not come from the factory with or for another country's market.
Don't get you feathers ruffled about it. It probably goes to nothing.

trbo930, you're probably right and i won't get too worried about it. I was really just curious what exciting feature I was missing out on.
