I'll bet you're itching for Spring! Come on down to VA, the tulips and daffodils are in bloom.Good stuff. Just can't wait to get the beast out from hibernation...
It is killing me seeing this nice weather and seeing my BT stuck indoors. Problem is the nice weather only lasts a few days and there is still lots of gravel on the roads... Oh well, it will come eventually...Good stuff. Just can't wait to get the beast out from hibernation...
Can you describe the difference it made? I'm trying to decide if mine need to be changed as well. I notice that the rear suspension is very stiff, with little travel, but my local BMW specialist says that is normal and the accumulators are fine.I finally had the rear accumulators done. It made a big difference, for the better.
I think mine are too lose and feel floaty. Maybe thats because I am just used to the 95 M5 suspension. Can you describe the difference it made? I'm trying to decide if mine need to be changed as well. Before the rear sat so low you couldn't get your fingers between the tire and wheel well. Going over bumps was jarring, very harsh. It wasn't too bad for highway driving, but in town was where you'd feel it. Now the car is about an inch higher and much smoother over bumps. Can you describe the difference it made? Check it out. After reading the posts on this board and gauging the car's performance, I figured this was a real concern. I felt like an idiot once the replacement was done. OF COURSE the accumulators were done. Geez. My saving grace?......... Please remember, my BT is THE ONLY one I've ever seen! So, I rely on this board's members and pay attention to what they're doing to improve our cars. And I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to steward a fine example. After reading that - I may need to change mine as well...
