I was driving along, minding my own business when the front end starts vibrating like crazy and the car starts pulling to the left. I slowed down until the vibration went away (about 25 mph) and limped home. I get into the garage to the smell of burnt brake pad and have a very dusty left front wheel. The rotor is still quite hot. When I jacked the car up I could not get the front wheel to turn. Off comes the wheel and caliper and I had to use my pad spreader to compress the (very rusty) piston back a little. The car drove fine all weekend, but of course did it again this AM on my way into work at 0530. The car is at the dealer now. Has anyone else had this happen?
