of course it's fast in a straight line, but with all that weight in the front....... it must go round corners really bad, and it still looks like a Taxi
Don't forget the Ring Taxi :thumbsup:M! said:taxi? there must be some cities that have E60 taxi's ?
I dont think so, they wouldnt make much money, because their taxis would be in service all the time :blabla:M! said:taxi? there must be some cities that have E60 taxi's ?
Correct, I just got back from Copenhagen where I thought 90% of the taxis are 2003 or newer E class MB's. I DID see one E60 taxi, debadged. I was blown away. The taxis were the nicest cars I saw there! Apparently you get a HUGE tax break if you register and use your car as a taxi for 2yrs. You can then sell it for more than you paid. That's what I was told when I kept on getting picked up from my Hotel in these new MB's.MortenDK said:In Denmark
We have lotsa taxies, 80% of them are Mercedes Benz E-class
I second that!VeYron said:Never heard of Gumball 3000? ?????? And you have an M6, etc.. on order. If you drive with those cars 280 km/h, you'r not a danger for other road users or what? hmmm
And that E Brabus looks amazing, Those who say it' looks like a taxi are just ****in' jealous. Or stupid perhaps. Always that rivalry against Mercedes.. They also make wonderful cars, is that so difficult to accept it?
But yeah.. , who am I?![]()
I would have to disagree about the sofa part. Any car capable of that kind of speed, and modified to that extent is probably quite capable in the corners. It will be pretty heavy, and nose-weighted with the big V-12, but 'sofa' is a bit harsh...Ashok Arora said:![]()
Of course it corners like a sofa

my 5c :wroom:
As for the Brabus, once you start modding, all bets are off as you can make any car go as fast as you want depending on how much money you want to spend.
Driving at high speed is always dangerous. Even when you're a driver with a lot of experience etc. And I also think that the Brabus looks quite good, but lets face it: this car won't corner like a Lotus or anything else, and that's just because it's a heavy large four door sedan. And I'd love to have this car as a taxi, I wouldn't be late on my appointments anymore!VeYron said:Never heard of Gumball 3000? ?????? And you have an M6, etc.. on order. Let's face this: if you can buy this beast, you probably also have a Lotus or a GT2 in your garage ;-) And also, it may (for example) on circuit be not that fast in the corners, how many times do you drive on circuit?jos said:Driving at high speed is always dangerous.
