Yup, was there last summer:

Unfortunately it was only being constructed then.... :)

Hopefully I´ll be able to visit the completed museum later this year.

I was there in the fall, ONE DAY before it opened, bad timing I guess.

Those port-a-pottys were clearly designed by Chris Bangle

Nice stufff, though. It clearly fits the BMW character. I wonder what the M section looks like.

You are the lucky one. I was there in June, this is a picture I got of my friend. Yes, the wind did just own her umbrella.

Screw the rain and heavy winds. That was a highly enjoyable day.

The museum itself was pretty cool, although understocked. I wanna go back when the actual one is built. I did like seeing the 850CSi up close though.

Very comprehensive article on this in the BMWCCA NY Chapter Newsletter.
a member picked up his 550i there and had the distinction of being the first Euro delivery at the new BMW "WORLD" center...said it was super impressive and the people were really especially nice.
Your car is brought in and placed on a "turntable" with lights on it like a spot light on a stage...so when you are brought into the room after doing the paperwork...its like TA-DA!!...LOL
Maybe one day:3:
