Bruce - Thank you again for your hospitality and generosity. I know you spent a lot of time putting this together. Everything from the food and wine to the cars to the photographer, was great.
I do want to apologize on behalf of myself and my fellow members who attended but left and headed over to Detailing Dynamics around 12:30. I think the group was a bit itchy to get out and do a drive. Regardless, it was rude and we do recognize your efforts and appreciate you putting this all together. Our sincere apologies.
I'll talk to you when I get back from my golf trip and we'll set up a time for you to do the mods we talked about.
I was just called about this post by a customer and all I have to say is UNBELIEVABLE! First of all, who said it was our "annual BBQ"? And the fact that you think that I run my business according to your seminar schedule is simply ridiculous. We have done these "Ping Pong" customer days since over a year ago. Our event was planned in mid February and invitations went out in batches since then. Out of the 1,987 customers in our data base, we invited only 80 of them - the ones who are the most loyal and who truly have our best interests at heart. Out of those 80, 60 RSVP'd and about 90 showed up. This was a closed meet which not designed to solicit business (unlike yours), but rather a chance for us to spend quality time with the people responsible for our success over the last 14 years in a social setting. From this board, I believe only 3 people were invited. If they told others at your place, it was not per us.Thank you for the appreciation in your post. While it was a great turnout I was a little taken back by the mass exodus and ultimately realizing that there were other plans. It was an undermining thing to do by Matt(DD). An annual barbeque in March????, set up after the buzz about the meet at my place. It was quite apparent to many members but you guys got caught up in it.
