If you just leave the phone in your pocket, or whereever, it uses the phone's antenna. If you have the "snap in adapter" and an external antenna, it will use that. I seem to have similar reception either way. I'm using att which often switches over to cingular. It seems like i would loose reception while on cingular if i was plugged in to the adapter. I do like the snap in adapter since it charges the phone.gmdebruyn said:Question for you guys. Some of you have bluetooth in your cars for your phones. You bring your phone into the car, setup some configuration and you are linked. Phone calls then route through your car.
My question is does the phone system use the antenna in the phone, or the antenna in the car?
