My driver's side rear M-Audio sub sounds like it's got a very bad winter cold. ?????? Any thoughts on this? I've had the car for a few months and I believe this problem has gradually progressed. I didn't originally notice it when purchased. Passengers in the back first heard it; now I can hear it all the time for just about everything.

It sounds terrible, but I'm hoping it's just something loose in there. Also wondering if anybody's had something similar. It's pretty obnoxious, so I've got to at least disconnect it, but will probably remove and see if it's anything obvious.

Here's the video (it's dark, but you don't need to see anything anyhow): YouTube - My subwoofer is sick

Thanks!

BMW basically holds the 2 subs in place and then builds the back half of the car around them, so to get at the subs to tighten them you'll need to remove the rear deck. If, while you are in there, you don't find anything loose, I would replace them. It is a PITA.
