It would appear that the rear lower perch location is not M5 compatible. Does it have a ring that you can relocate like the Konis do? Measure the stock location from lower eye to ring and set it there if possible.

I think this is basically the crux of it. The spring perch ring is unfortunately not adjustable. I measured it against the stock damper when I first got it out and thought I took pictures but now I can't seem to find them. In any case, if I remember correctly I only measured a 15mm difference between the two. I think once I drive the car around for a bit it will settle down some and end up closer to this 15mm increase rather than the 25mm increase that I measured right after installation. Let the spring seat itself into the new pads, the pads into the top mounts, and so on. Will measure again in a few weeks!
