What's the difference between the B36 and the B38 head bolts?
Im trying to figure out why BMW says to torque the S14 & B35 head bolts up to 100nm and the B36 & B38 head bolts using a torque angle sequence.
The part #'s for the S14/S38 B35/B36 are the same BUT the B38 is different...
Is the B38 bolt a torque to yield bolt or a standard shank bolt like the S14/B35/B36?
Maybe they just goofed in their tech page for the torque sequence and meant the B38 was the only one to be torque to yield?
