B10 3.3 had standard 540 brakes and pads on the front and 528 on the rear.

Think the V8 was the same

V8S had ALPINA branded brakes

Hi I too have a B10 3.2 1999 Model.

How About Upgrading the entire system

I Must say that I am rather dissapointed with the Brakes on the Car.

I Would Like to Upgrade them. Could somebody give me a good suggestion?

Oh - that would explain why Sytners have been taking so long to replace the ones on a V8S I'm collecting from them shortly. They said that they had to get brakes from Alpina, which can take a while.... Does anyone know if they are actually any different or better from the ones on the 540 ?

I believe the V8S brakes are Brembos specially made for Alpina.
