Car was imported from Japan, smoked pretty steady coming off the boat and driving to temporary storage nearby. Pulled the engine cover and saw a couple damaged cam lobes, banjo bolt scenario. Pretty sure the smoke is from turbo oil seals and not rings; car only has 35K miles on it, good cond otherwise. The original plan to do an eligibility petition and import it via the typical RI process was scrapped, decided to go the "assemblage of parts" route instead since the motor was going to come out anyway. The car passed entry easily and is totally legal with the Alpina VIN, has US title and tags, eligible for insurance anywhere. I have parts and repair docs from Alpina, in German. The cam is a plain M30 unit. Car is complete, only disassembled for repairs.

I'm looking for $17.5K and can deliver it anywhere along I5 in early March. Email to "[email protected]" for more info.
