Got a Question for all of you seasoned M5 guys (and girls).

Is there a way to override this automatic feature on the car? It realy makes it more difficult to pick out the police at night with the dimmer always on. I have not found the key to overriding the automatic dimming on the car yet. Please help.

Thanks,

Mark

Shine a flashlight on it.

In all honesty, all of the other car's i've driven that have it also have an on/off button. Try the dealer?

There's a sensor at the bottom of the mirror in the middle - you can mask it with a a tiny piece of adhesive material or black marker
