Hey guys, just have a question.

I was in London saturday, watched the start, was amazing.

Therefore i decided to go to Monaco on friday to watch the finish. Apparently they are supposed to start arriving at 1800, is this a realistic goal, or are cars likely to arrive much later or earlier? Just trying to get an idea of when to head out, Monaco is a mess usually in summer anyway, and with the grand prix it gets even worse...

Also, is anybody else from here gonna be there?? Might be interesting to meet up with a few people, see if we can get any closer to the cars...

My friend and I are both driving down to see the end of the Gumball and the Grand Prix. Driving down from Portsmouth in the UK will take us at least 8 hours but if we leave Caen at 7:15am Friday morning we should get there in time to see them arrive :1:

How much is a beer in Monaco? cherrsagai 75€ ? :haha2:

We are driving down in my friends Peugeot 306 Rallye but it's top speed is only 140mph :sad3:

I think we will be sensible and not try to get police attention but we must hurry to get there in time for the Gumball finish! :wroom:

Yeah the trains have a special timetable (and ticket) for the monaco grand prix, i take the train every year, going to the training on thursday. The train is the only way to go, it takes a little under 30 mins from Nice. The monaco station is also very impressive...

A lovely 'Grand Prix' Cocktail in the Cafe De Paris cost a wallet curdling 15Euro....

Best cocktail i've ever had tho.

My old man did calais to St.Tropez/Nice in about 10 hours! not very fast driver tho and plenty of stopping.

My dad has done Le thoronet (about 1hr from cannes) to the hague (1400km) in 10hrs, including lunch and fuel stops...not bad...

Cafe de Paris is pretty good yeah, gonna be filled with famous people, not leaving room for me right now though :sad3:

Oh well...going to the cannes film festival now, then grand prix tomorrow, then gumball the day after...oh dear, it is a tough life down here :D

Hope the weather is good! What is the forecast?
Weather was horrible yesterday, sunny in cannes now. Should be good in monaco tomorrow, and the weekend i dont know yet, its difficult to forecast here.

You can have a look on the website www.meteo.fr although they say we are supposed to be having thunderstorms now...
