Hi All, this is my first post, had my M6 for about 6 months now and loving it, it is 2007 car in black with individual champaigne leather, i am a wheel specialist in Engalnd, www.bmautosport.co.uk , some of you may know me.Anyway it gives me pleanty of opportunity to play with wheels and tyres, so i am thinking about trying 305/25/20 on the rear, as everyday wheels i use 20" AC5 forged wheels (nice and light weight at around 10kg per wheel, which makes car feel a little faster!) with 10", they are et33 and i am running 28mm spacers giving me an et5! I have 285/30/20 at the moment and with this off set they sit very close to the arch but dont touch, i have 255/35/20 front on the 9's with 15mm spacers on the original et22 wheels. I want the wheels to look a little bigger and also some more grip at the rear, so am thinking 255/30/20 front and 305/25/20 rear but not sure if they will go ok with no problem, i think i will have to use a 20mm spacer to give me the clerance on the arch, so i was just wondering if anyone else is running 305's and if so how you find them within the arch and do they feel better than the 285's?
Here is a pic of the car at a recent BMW show, but these are my 22" show wheels, 9" et2 with 255/30/22 and 10.5 et25 with 295/25/22
Hope you like and when i get a chance i will post a new thread with some more pics and interior pics.
