I find that the M5's bluetooth is not the best. Yes, you are audible, but it's definitely not clear. Our Prius' built in bluetooth is far more clear, as sad as it is.
Have your friend or someone call you with your phone through the call. Then try again using just your phone. See if there is a difference in quality. You can also try a friends phone (talk with the phone directly and then with the phone hooked up to the car to see if there's differences and to eliminate the difference between the phones themselves).
