We'll,
I brought my car in for a simple oil change. Left with a $6000 estimate to repair car.

First is the passenger seat occupancy mat, a cool 3k.
Not too worried about that right now.

But something my SA never even mentioned was this one line note i found on my receipt.
"Actuator on rear of gearbox seeping $3000"

That's it. No other info about it and my service advisor never mentioned it. Car now has 74k miles, I assume original clutch. Just in the past week I have noticed the power seems noticeably down, And it doesn't feel as torquey as normal. No idea if it's related to the gearbox actuator.

Anyone ever have a similar problem. Is this something I can get fixed properly for cheaper then $3000.

Any ideas?

Ive got an appt at Turner next week.
Did you know Marco is no longer working there?
Kindof a bummer. He was great and really knew his stuff.
Theres a new kid as the service manager. He seems nice, but marco is a tough guy to replace.
