I really wanted to run ToyoR888's on my M6 in 285/35/20 but I think its going to rub esp b/c I have a 1" drop and 12mm spacers. My shop recommened Nt05 as a good alternative but the only 20" size they make is 305/30/20 (I think that will fit though) Im running forgestars 20x10.5 et.25 Im thinking I may just get 2 r888's and if they dont fit i'll sell them but anyone have expierence with Nitto Nt05's? My main concern is traction not comfort.

If you're looking for a soft tire, take a look at BFG Rivals. The Rivals are getting rave reviews from many of my AutoX and club racer buddies. I have no idea if they have your size.

Regarding the 305s...I'm running PSSs 305s, details in my sig. I get slight rubbing on some compressions, but I could/can raise my suspension to eliminate all rubbing. Keep in mind, I'm not on a stock suspension.

if u think 285 is going to rub, what makes u think 305 wont rub? doesn't make sense at all.

The 285's are 285/35 the rubbing would come from the 35 wall not the 285 width. Im running 285/30 right now with no issues.

I'll take a look at those. As for rubbing I only have a 1" drop and my wheels are 10.5 so the 305 shouldnt be an issue I wouldnt think. I dont see how I could rub at all except maybe my 12mm spacers may be a problem.
