Im looking for a thread to give me a run down for doing the pads and rotors. one with pictures would be superb.:1:

Everything is pretty much the same for an M5...

As above, I've done brakes on e32's, e28's and my M5 and there is nothing special about the M5. One tip, if you have trouble getting the pistons back, remove the pads, bolt the calipers back on and use a pry bar to (carefully) lever the piston back in. Rear e-brake (handbrake to us UK blokes) can be a bit of a fiddle but there should be some guides somewhere to this, I'm sure someone will be along with one...
