Well after originally looking for a 530d i stumbled across this M5 at a local garage.
Took it for a test drive and I was hooked!
Very impulsively put a deposit down later in the day! I then started doing some reseach (arse about face I know)
This board has already been a superb help and provided me with loads of info.
Carbon Black with 85k
Full BMW service history (from what I can see)
Comes with 12 month warranty from the dealer, not as good as BMW warranty but covers most major things.
The PDC failed after a week (not mentioned in warranty) but the garage sorted the problem (new sensor) FOC and let me have a loan car for the day.
Really enjoying the ownership and driving experience.
Still not sure about the wheels but they will stay on for the winter whatever.

Welcome to the board and hope you enjoy your new M5, looks like a facelift model.

You've already mentioned it about the wheels, they are really horrible, will look much better with standard wheels, sorry !

Welcome to M5 ownership but don't worry about fitting the original wheels, get some 19" LM reps. They will look stunning on your black car

Congratulations and welcome to the board.

How does the torque compare to that of the Accord Type R ? ;)

Different world!

However the low gearing and lightness of the ATR make for a very entertaining drive.

Wouldn't like too choose a winner on a twisty track (no long straights)

Welcome aboard.....another newbie like me.

IMHO OE wheels look best, havent yet seen a set that suit the car better.

Welcom to the board and the M5 world.

Totally agree about the wheels, unless I had a huge budget for Big brake kit and the kit could not clear the wheels, I would not change the wheels. They are classic
