Hey guys,

I recently purchased a Tmobile Mytouch 4g smartphone running Android 2.2 and can no longer sync the contacts with iDrive. It sends and receives calls just find if initiated via the handset, but the contact list just shows the spinning clock and fails to sync. Does anyone have experience with this or know of a solution?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S (the AT&T "Captivate" version) which runs Android 2.1 and it syncs contacts OK. But it sometimes takes a while. It might be a function of how new your iDrive software is (I see that you have a 2006). Ask your dealer if a software update for your car is appropriate.

No problems syncing contacts.

I have an evo4g running 2.2 with ~200 contacts and ~500 unique phone numbers.

thanks for the replies. do you have pictures associated with your contacts? i think that maybe what's causing problems.

I have photos for some, but not all, of my contacts on my Android phone (they of course do not show up in the car).
