ok now i am really thinking deep and hard about painting my mouldings. My car is a 2003 Alpine White with cosmos black roof. The car has front and rear bumpers with the mouldings are the black factory finish bumpers and doors. What looks better for this combination and if painted what has to be done exactly so that the car doesnt look bad in the future with anything peeling is their certain prep that needs to be done. What should i make sure my paint guy follows anything different with prep on the bumper trim versus the door trim? thanks

Keep the black rub strips black. Nice contrast especially on the lighter colored M cars and a much more sporty look. Just IMO though.

I agree. Black moldings on a white car is best left original.
