Just managed to get Alpina b8 4.6 Coupe No. 10. Made in 1995 it is montreal blau and has lot of options!
This car was for sale from Behrendt Autos, (www.behrendt-automobile.de) and delt with Alex who was superb throughout.
The car has 90k km's and is in superb condition. It was for sale with white lenses but I asked if Alex could put the amber lenses back on, which i prefer as now it is 100% original.
Alex also told me that this car was used in the Alpina Brochures, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to contact Alpina via e-mail and ask if they had any of these brochures spare?
Wont be seeing it till December though
Cheers to Kees and Michael for the advice over the last couple of weeks too:cheers:
Thank you very much for your comments, I handed the compact keys to my little sister when she turned 17 in september, and was carless and have been looking for the right one since then really
This would be used in england and cross continental blasts. We ordered the E60 in april 01
I think you have definitely made a good choice. The car looks really well looked after. I like the fact that Alpina's in Britain are relatively unknown amongst the general public. A proper stealth vehicle which is going to upset a few E46 318 company car drivers who don't know what lurks beneath aswell as the drivers of some of the high spec 3 Series.
I think that car was on Ebay some weeks ago. It had some respray at the front (including the 97 kidney grill), nothing major according to the owner.... and the CD-Player doesn't work. That's about it. Great car congratulations!
that car's original Alpina registration plate was OAL-XU1 and was featured in the 1995 Alpina B8 brochure (together with my car).
Congratulations on your new car, Adam! It looks very nice. The B8-brochure is very nice I would suggest that you contact Angelika Jörg at Alpina, she is very nice and helpful. Here is the mail-adress: [email protected].
That Silver RUF is owned by a good friend of mine and he had just bought it, and the thing is it is a brand new 993, newly built and just registered! Beautiful machine!
Thank you Niclas!
Mr Janne, thank you very much for the e-mail! :byebye:
Gustav, that is my car! You saw it at Alex's house? I remember Alex came in a B8, but that wasnt mine was it? Be pretty ironic if it was lol, but i cant remember! Also do you have anymore pics of the trip, i havent seen them yet, and i think they will be good!
Mill thank you very much for the pic, and it is nice to know that both our cars have such a nice history together!
Thank you Gerrit, Hopefully we can meet up at the ring and then go for some comparison runs with the GT?
LHD is no problem whatsoever, if you are really used to driving RHD you will hit your left hand against the door when you come to shift(probably once or twice )
In terms of overtaking its no problem if the car is fast as then you just hang back a little bit more which i think is a good idea anyway.
The one problem is tolls and car parks where you have to press the button and stuff
Have a great time at the ring! Hope the weather is good!
That is your car we went from Alpian with to the Pizzeria t oRuf and to the Munich Hotel  Also the B8 at the gas station where we filled up, and the one you raced against.
Hello everyone,
I'm new to posting on this forum and searching for any ignition and/or fuel control systems tuning information on, specifically, the 1980 iteration of the Alpina B7. My customer's car has a Pierburg type 52700101 mechanical fuel distributor (Alpina sourced this from an aviation...

Looking at one of these that has been standing for a long time in someone's collection.
Unfortunately the 3 ECU units are missing.
So no chance of it running.
It is for sale. What is the likelihood of getting these parts?
Also needs airflow sensor amongst other stuff.
