This is getting out of hand.... They have a black Z8 on the floor (oh God she's beautiful) and are asking $300K!!

They also have a black 2000 (MY99?) M5, and are asking $95K!

What t'hell is going on?

Delusional sales department.

That black 2000 M5 has been on their showroom floor for about a month now w/ 95k asking price, and no one has bought it yet.

Try 80k, Allison.

FWIW, I bought my M5 NEW late August from Stevens Creek BMW for 5k over MSRP.

Boy, you folks out in CA really pay a premium for fine automobiles, eh? I guess you owe it to the dot-coms....

Or we just don't buy them from local dealers.

I paid sticker for mine, ordered 12/99, build 3/00 (I got 5W-30 oil!), Euro delivery.

I've never been to the dealership, never met the people I dealt with there, but Taylor Martin at Ganley BMW in Middleburg Heights, Ohio did a good job for me.

I paid MSRP for mine. In fact, when I put a deposit on it in 3/99, price was never discussed. I called them a year later after I started hearing stories of west coast price gouging to ask what I was gonna pay; the answer was MSRP, delivered 7/00. no hassle. BMW of Fairfax, Virginia.
