Asenna:
Do you have any contact information for Racing Dynamics or a website? I'd be interested to see their products and even get a sound clip if possible. Also, what sort of installation procedures were necessary?

I have installed Hamann exhaust about 2 month ago. I did it for cosmetic reasons, but after the installation I am more than happy with the sound as well.
According to one of the member-Kelvin(if I remember the name correctly), in US they are about $2000 for the set and around $2200 including the labor.
Some people said that Supersprint(manufacturer of Hamann exhaust)'s is much cheaper, but I like the look of thin walled Hamann exhaust much better. I think it's worth the price.
Good luck!

P.S; Tfung's G-power unit is pretty cool too.

Racing Dynamics website is Racing
Dynaamics.com;however,they do not have the exhaust product listed. The installation took about 1.5hours.The OEM is one piece so they had to cut the pipes about half-way and then screw on the muffler and exhaust.
I believe(but am not sure) that Supersprint makes the exhaust for both the Hamann and Racing Dynamics systems on an outsource basis.
Finally, there is an increase in acceleration;how much the horsepower increases is unknown to me but you can feel it immediately.

Y'know...I generally don't consider myself to be the kind of person who'd buy an exhaust for the sound...but there's no question that the M5's exhaust could stand to be a little further forward in the orchestra.

I had occasion to listen to the Kelleners exhaust when we stopped in Dinslaken, and was suitably impressed both by the sound and the appearance. I figure I'm going to have to have one sooner or later.

The Tubi sounds the best out of all aftermarket exhaust I have heard. It has a bass rumble at idle and a higher pitch wail at full throttle very similar to a Ferrari 355. It has a noticable power increase as well by the seat of the pants. It is much lighter and looks good too. You can buy direct from Tubi for $2100.00 USD and they will ship COD.

I have to disagree about the Hamann exhaust. I have had mine for a few months. I detect no appreciable difference in sound from the stock exhaust either from the interior or exterior of the car. There is some benefit in the aesthetics and some weight savings, but, overall, I consider this installation to have been an almost total waste of over $2000. Unfortunately, this was the only system available and I went more by Hamann's reputation than by considering that the Euro manufacturers might be under stricter sound regulations that we have here in the USA and wouls, therefor, produce quieter systems. Damn!

Sell it to some unsuspecting sap and buy a Tubi. It's worth it for sound and performance !!

No, I'm just a poor dumb lawyer. I have had them on two Ferraris I have owned in the past. When I heard a Tubi on an M5 about two weeks ago I was reminded just how good they sound so I ordered one for my 2000 M5. You really can't explain the sound until you hear it. It's the closest sound to an F1 car you can get on a street car. You owe it to your self to hear one before buying any other aftermarket exhaust.
